Beth is VP Treasurer of a leading foodservice distribution company. Beth was appointed to the Westmont Public Library Board of Trustees in December 2021 to fill a vacancy and to serve a 17-month term. In the last 15 months she has learned that her talents are indeed of use to the Board. As such, she wishes to continue to serve in the capacity of Trustee of the Westmont Public Library for a full four-year term with the following goals:
-be an advocate for the 2023 strategic plan and ensure it is reflected in future budget
-expand her community involvement to learn how the Library can improve its service to the community
-further relationship with Library Director in support of her work in the mission of the Library
-promote the American Library Association’s seven Freedom to Read Propositions which were originally issued in 1953 as the Freedom to Read Statement.
