Heather began serving as a trustee at the Westmont Library in 2015, the same year she was recognized by the Illinois Library Association as Young Adult Librarian of the Year. She has worked in libraries and with librarians for over twenty years and is currently an editor at a book review journal for librarians. She and her husband moved to Westmont in 2005 for its convenient location, but have stayed because of the wonderful community. They have two teenaged children and two rescue dogs.
