Jason Fichtel is Professor of English and Chair of the Department of English, Philosophy, and World Languages at Joliet Junior College. He joined the Westmont Public Library Board of Trustees when he moved to Westmont in 2010, and he currently serves as President of the Board. In addition to his life-long passions for reading and teaching, he is also an avid pickleball player and clarinetist.
